Yonca Lodge is a 14-room small/boutique hotel located on the beach in Yan?klar village outside Fethiye.   Not only does it lie in sight of the Mediterranean?s most beautiful islands and bays but, with the beach on one side, it also lies within an orchard and a beautiful well-tended flower garden.   One side of the garden is next to a small forest of native sweet gum trees (liquidambar orientalis), whilst the other sides look to the fish in the sea, the loggerhead turtles who breed on the beach, and the ducks in the pond which they share with a host of other wildlife. 

All buildings here have been built within the philosophy of a natural, holistic lifestyle, and include wood and clay plaster constructed using traditional, simple methods.   The rooms are also plain but well decorated, spacious and comfortable.   Care has been taken to ensure that all materials used within the rooms are made from natural products. 

The restaurant adjoins the beach and its tables actually sit on the sand by the sea.   The menu is made up of healthy, light recipes from traditional Mediterranean and Aegean cuisine.   The flavour of the food not only benefits from the fact that almost all ingredients used are organic, but also many of them are fresh picked immediately prior to use.   Sea food is offered dependent on what the skilled local fishermen have caught on any particular day.
